Learn About Us
Sports play an essential role in young lives. Being on a team teaches children how to interact with others, how to handle success or defeat and keeps the body active. Unfortunately, kids in underserved communities may not have the opportunity to play sports; one reason being that equipment is too expensive. That’s why a group of local teens has formed SKORE, a not-for-profit organization that collects gently used sports equipment for underprivileged kids.
What’s Our Goal
Students Keen On Recycling Equipment was founded by high school students with a passion for playing sports. The organizational leaders and contributing team members want to level the playing field for those who cannot afford equipment costs. Paying for a uniform or lacrosse stick should not be a deterrent to joining a sports team! SKORE is dedicated to bringing the joy of sports to those who may need it most.
